Guy Primus, The Virtual Reality Company's CEO to Keynote at CTIF 2020
The Consumer Tech Innovation Festival returns to celebrate tech brands, startups, products and services in an atmosphere of family fun and utter techie fandom!

Atlanta based Global Races and Events LLC (GRE) today announced that Virtual Reality Company CEO Guy Primus will deliver the keynote address at the Consumer Tech Innovation Festival (CTIF). CTIF, also referred to as the 'Consumer Tech Inno Fest', showcases cutting edge technology products, services from developers, startups and leading brands across a variety of consumer markets. Primus' address is on the 2020 theme ''AI, 5G and the Future of Everything' and will take place during the festival's conference program on Friday, June 19th at the Omni Hotel Downtown at CNN Center. Owned and produced by GRE, CTIF will run June 19 - 21, 2020 in Atlanta.
At CTIF 2020, Primus will discuss how Artificial Intelligence and 5G are catalyzing new technologies and services that will challenge our senses and transform entertainment, education and human interaction. He will explore the impact on current and future media industries, and the prospects for evolving the consumer experience.

Guy Primus is the Co-founder and CEO of The Virtual Reality Company, VRC, a Los Angeles based content studio and production company that combines the best in narrative storytelling, technology, art and gaming to create compelling and immersive VR experiences for people around the world. Founded in 2014 by four Hollywood veterans, (Robert Stromberg, Guy Primus, Chris Edwards and Joel Newton), VRC began with a team of award winning storytellers with a passion for innovation and a desire to explore a new way to share experiences and tell stories. Primus is the former Chief Operating Officer of Overbrook Entertainment, the film and television production company founded by actor/producer Will Smith and producer James Lassiter. He also co-founded and managed Tentpole Ventures for Smith, a seed-stage tech investment fund that focuses on consumer lifestyle companies and whose portfolio includes Pinterest, DogVacay, Fancy and Loom (acquired by Dropbox).
Prior to joining Overbrook, Primus was Director of Digital Media at Starbucks, where he co-created the popular "Pick of the Week" program. As Group Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft's MSN Entertainment, he earned the company an adtech award for his creation of "The Scenario" for Sprite. He also served as Vice President of Strategy & Planning for Blue Flame, the marketing and advertising agency founded by Sean “Diddy” Combs. Guy is a member of the Georgia Tech Advisory Board and chairman emeritus of the advisory board of Georgia Tech’s School of Industrial Engineering. He has also been honored as a "Captain of Industry" by the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers. Guy also serves on VRC’s Board of Directors.
